enemy body blocking
what do you guys think about enemies body blocking the player? sometimes they rush you and are all around you and it's a shove festival, looks weird and plays weird ^^

i think just bigger enemies should be able to body block instead

though its not that much of an issue even if it stays like that, just feels a little off at the moment

Was in original game also - you got to use your movement skill to get out

You got to worry mostly about exploding units most of all

I like it, tbh... You have to avoid getting surrounded. Sometimes I've even let it happen, because it was somehow beneficial to remain in position. But then you have to deal with getting out of it somehow.

well i can see how it is something you need to get used to and avoid ^^ i am at the quest ominous altars and there the enemies spawn kinda on top of you in a really small space and its even harder to avoid them :D

i mean they die easily at the moment but if its getting harder later it can be over quickly xD

Body blocking is awful it's the only thing I hate so far. So far Poe2 is nearly perfect but the body blocking is mindblowingly bad. Just allow us to dodgeroll out, what is the point of having a mechanic that allows the player to get stuck and instantly die? It's not fun, all GGG is going to do is make people quit with that mechanic.

I feel it's fine from a gameplay standpoint, however in coop it becomes a "door stuck" moment.

I don't think they should be able to push you. I had wolves in the first act boss push me all the way out into the smoke and I couldn't do anything about it. Body blocking is fine though.

Don't get surrounded. It's not as hard as it sounds, if you see a pack running to you, plan your escape and start moving before they cut you off. Also the dodge isn't supposed to replace movement skills. I found one for my monk to leap over and makes getting surrounded a non issue

body blocking is fine
Being pushed is not fine. You'll notice enemies push your minions out of the way when pathing to you. In party play, players get pushed out of the way when mobs target the other player. Some enemies have movement skills or are gigantic and that would be okay, but its every enemy just by walking.

literally my minions lmao, they get eachother stuck on doorways... and dont attack.... and let me die... sad face

Lol it being in the first doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥. It's clunky, implemented poorly and is way overdone, especially with melee characters. Ill never understand worthless trash like you blindly defend and simp for these mega corporations. Pathetic.

GGG is not mega btw, kind a hard when its in kiwi land where you cant have outsiders work on your game without importing them.

I call tripple A mega if anything.

Worst mechanic in this game. Since mapping around debris, with a wall of fire or a mountain of green poison isn't hard enough already, now you have to guess the hitbox of hundreds of enemies, circumvent being block from unseen debris, dodge hidden on death effects all while doing dmg.

Plain and simple, it's not fun, and that's the general consensus from MOST POE2 players (not the 1% elites).
