Passive Skill Tree - Weapon Sets

Hi. I've been trying to allocate these weapon set points but it does not work. Am I missing something? It clearly says 2 (2) in my case.

If you look at the image, i've got a common node, then from there i branched, 2 points of fire and 2 other points in ice. All good so far, the thing is that i can't allocate anything in the node that i marked with ???. From there I just want to continue investing points but it won't let me. This is confusing.

So, do you need the other prior nodes activated as well? That is, not just a single 'path' to that node which says 'req. not met'?

It's because you didn't allocate a "normal" skill point in previous skills I guess. I tried the same thing. I have another problem further in the tree. I try to allocate a weapon skill point after another and it does't work, dunno why.

Exactly @OniLink, if you invest 'normal' points in the previous branch it refunds you the weapon set points and you just continue normally through the tree, but it does not make any sense. I expected it to work this way. I get to a certain node, then i branch using weapon set points, then when we get again to a common point we continue as usually.

Also in order to invest those weapon set points you MUST have some unused points in the common pool. I think that number on the side of the weapon set it just says how many points I am allowed to invest, but those are not the actual points. No idea, it's weird.

i have 19 points on my tree, and the game has given me 16 points from lvls and 4 from weapons. SO WHERE IS MY LAST POINT?

Same, it is confusing, not sure if I am missing something or it is bugged. I would really appreciate a brighter mind to clarify this.

I must not be fully understanding what your issue is. You have 4 skill points, so pick 1 of the 3 pathways to get to your 8% elemental damage. If you're trying to just go straight to elemental damage, it won't auto allocate a path direction for you, you have to manually choose which prerequisites you want to use to get there.

EDIT: After rereading your first comment, if you used 2 points, then 2 points, you have none left for your elemental?? Please correct me on misunderstanding, but I see nothing illogical

I'll try my best to explain the possible issue. So let's say we have a common node, as shown in the image. From there we branch using the weapon set points. Then AGAIN we meet at a common node as shown in the image, marked with ??? . Problem is that from there we cannot continue using 'normal' points. It says 'requirements not met'. Simple as that. Is this more clear?

Same problem in the same place. But I tried to put points into the ice and lightning talent tree. And I also can't learn the top talent "Elemental Damage" - requirements not met.

yep, I am not sure if it is a bug or if it is something that we do not understand about this weapon specific talents system
