shift key doesn't work to hold position, anyone else have the problem?

My witch dies constantly as she doesn't hold position when i press the shift key.

Is your witch moving when you hold down CTRL and attack? I've noticed some sort of "momentum", where if the witch is moving when I attack an enemy, she keeps moving, even though I'm holding CTRL.
The way to test the correct key is to stand still somewhere, then hold the key and left-click anywhere on screen. I she moves, that's not the key. For me, using this method, I found it was CTRL.

It's shift. I thought for sure it was CTRL, but I just played, and it was shift.

Cant stop the character from moving completely. Just need to redirect until they make it smoother

setting in the interface that makes shift do the job of S combined.

There is a force stop option in the settings. It works. I've been using it. Look in the options menu. It's like "force stop stops all movement" or something.

She will walk to the last click and then hold. If you hold shift then attack she will hold. It's a little clunky but works for me

Consider giving WASD controls a try. They work much better in this game imo.

Also, you can set specific skills to "Always attack without moving" in the skills menu > clicking on the arrow next to DPS > settings under stats.

no this is awfull... if you target on the boss, on the zerg and you runing inside and you are death! this not working! this is not HC compatible... you cant play this on SC too on this difficulty.

speacaly if you have bad frames and laaag. you are death, becaus you running again in the AOE or inside of the enemey....

I tried WASD yesterday, and it makes a lot of fights easier. I still need to get used to it, but I can keep moving while casting, which would be impossible with mouse-only.
