Apparently the devs done goofed bringing Souls-like gameplay into aRPG fight.
It is simply bad game design, just like the change to the skill system. Dumbing it down to make it more accessible and digestible for dark soul fans is not a good move.

I already have that.
For some reason none of my skills feel any better to use than my default attack as far as damage goes.
Sure, the animations are nice but by the time the animation has finished you are half dead.
Combine that with only 1 health flask instead of the typical 3, and you have an issue.
I did, and it does help, but the issue stays the same: none of my skills do any more damage than my default attack skill.
It's a problem because it makes that whole bar of skills useless and the whole skill system weak and equally useless.
They need to tune the skills so it actually feels you are getting stronger from skills, not from XP.
I guess this is fun for some people, but i wanted to have ARPG fun, not play Dark Souls.
