Bosses are ridiculous strong

So wtf... they are super strong and can insta kill you... with ranger i manage to kill the cemetery boss but can't kill the werewolf one that regen all his hp and with sorc i can't kill the cemetery boss.

Wow. If you have problems as ranged, you better not try melee class, cuz that is on whole different difficulty level.

Everything is bullet sponge, so bosses are double so. Abuse unlimited dodge, thats the best you can do. Accept the fact that you will spend minutes to kill boss.

If you cant kill main boss of a1 as ranger, gl with sorc, especialy if you run cold spells..

Try switching skills or passive tree builds maybe? I was able to kill both first try as a sorc with zero gear. like level 1-5 gray items from early on.

It was only hard as Monk (Squishy + Melee = desaster). But now as Level 7 Monk with 0 investements into survivability and going ranged I kill bosses in a few seconds without dieing, sometimes even without being hit once.

Use dodge. ALOT. It's like ESO, or witcher 3 on hard, don't stand still, shoot move. Next use firewall and shoot thru it. Third, level up more in other areas, craft upgraded gems to increase you spell levels. Fourth you actually have to focus on defense, not just offense.

With a Sorc and sucking at the game, i've been able to clear the first 2 zones. There is a boss in 2 that took me 4 or 5 tries, but eventually I got it.

being 1 shoted and dealing no damage when boss 1 shots you and keeps spawniig minions is not even skill issue. its devs lack of testing issue. you cant move you cant dodge and you get 1 shotted while you deal no damage.

It is. It means you both suck at making a build AND suck at controlling your character.

But how comes that I am not one shot? Even not on a squishy. And how comes that I can easily deal with the minions? And easily kill the boss? Still sounds like a skill issue 🤣, you are probably only used to dumbed down games...

Maybe they will add a "Noob" difficulty if you ask them for it.

If you cannot beat a boss - just farm a bit more and get a tad stronger...

Hey man, I'm just going to chuck my opinion in here after playing it for 7 hours. I've downed quite a few bosses and have just ascended.

I'll tell you what the game isn't. It's not D3, it's not Last Epoch. It will punish you for staying still.

I enjoy the bosses, it's like a battle of attrition. You have to keep your composure at all times, I'd say even ignore the boss bar all together, it doesnt really matter what it is, the phases are designed in a way you don't need to know they are coming.

So what's my advice? Dodge, loads. Dodge, dodge, get position, unload your spells and get ready to dodge again.

I've only died twice so far, though the 2nd time felt a little unfair, they were both totally my fault. I used those deaths to teach myself what this game is, and what it isnt.

To everyone struggling with boss fights - if by chance your input layout is "mouse + keyboard" make sure to change it to "WASD". Guys, it made a night and day difference to me!!! Controls feel so much better and responsive, I never died to any boss until the end of Act 1. Just try it and thank me later :)

Totally agree werewolf is a pain in the ass and i don't want to play this kind of new POE if continue with this path, i think devs go to nerf the bosses slowly and see what happen.
Because a lot of ppl don't like this (or make a difficulty settings or something for select what kind of play you want).
