I wouldn't call intensive kiting strategic. I even wanted to challenge myself and play Warrior, but looks like it's gonna be even more stutter-stepping "fun"

That is the thing, and some people claiming its hard don't understand what hard is.

That is like saying killing the asylum demon as wretch in dark souls at very start is hard. Its not, it just slow and boring and you lose your patience causing you to lose focus resulting in your death

The fight is not hard in itself and the same is with PoE 2 its all about how much patience you have before you get frustrated and die cause you just want to be done with it.

early game is always slow even in poe 1 and many arpgs, and this game has a lot of early game

Yup, the famous "tactical action" gameplay which has turned the initial reviews of WH40K Inquisitor Martyr into "mostly negative" - because it's boring af. Inquisitor developers then switched it back to the usual aRPG gameplay in the 1.5 update and the game is pretty fun since then :lunar2019piginablanket:

Just a different game style, and much better, I hope they never make it like poe1, I like the first one, but you can't even understand what is happening on screen, just go fast brainless using one skill, some "complicate builds" use two active skills and that's it

I suspect that is some legacy code from the time when they were planning to merge poe 2 with 1 and they never updated it.

Than again its not really a excuse since they decided to make it its own thing so they should have updated that part of the system fort sure and just use your GGG account name or steam name when playing with others.

It's basically a refined PoE1 ruthless mode, so if one likes that, then this will be good as well. Obviously there are improvements to QOL and gameplay, but the feel of the combat and loot drops are very ruthless-like.

Id say losing patience then losing focus then getting killed is a skill issue.
