I have Early Access but I dont have early access

Not sure whats going on. I purchased the game via GGG site weeks ago and redeemed on steam.

Today I run the game and click log in and it tells me I dont have early access, yet on the website in my account it says

"Your account is eligible for Path of Exile 2 Early Access! Thank you for your (or your benevolent friend's) support!

Your account will be allowed to log in and play during Path of Exile 2 Early Access."

What the hell is going on ?

Same here. Got a Steam key from POE site, my POE is linked to my Steam accointances and I stil can’t log in to POE2. Very frustrating at this point ….

did u use the steam key to activate it by going to top left corner > Games > Activate a product on steam ? cos that worked for me

Same crap. The developers wrote that they sort of fixed this error, but it's already the 13th hour and nothing has changed...

You need to link account, Open the game. click link accounts it sends and email (if that doesn't work go to website and manage account on right side and connect your steam account), then confirm it through email and by logging into website.

I had the same issue. It turned out I needed to link my POE account to my Steam account.

They will the send a verification email that will link the accounts(10-15min wait for email to arrive)

My Issue also was I had a POE account from years ago that was linked and I opened a new account when I purchased the key so I merged both my POE accounts so the key would now work on Steam which was my old original account.
Once yo get to the connections tab it will tell you if there is any other issue when you try to connect account with Steam.

Linking doesn't work. And that's it. Maybe in a week, when they clean up this mess.

I linked the account on the PoE website but i still doesn't have the access. I got the following message both in game and on website:

"Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Bribe a friend who has a spare key or purchase now."

Doesn't work.
I got key, redeemed on Steam, GGG site tells me I don't have EA, Accounts were already linked, email verified, I even merged 2 accounts as smb suggested, said it helped him but I keep getting the same message - Account don't have EA.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Just like me you probably got a key from smb who purchased early access and recieved a key for steam, but thing is that such keys are meant for simply downloading a client and devs even made a note near such key codes.

Are you still having this problem? I was playing without any problems and now I suddenly don't have access to the game... I paid for early access on 12/12 and now on 20/12 I can't get in anymore.

Maybe you got a key that only has access to the game client and not the EA?
