Spells dont go where you click- strange
Hello,
Id like to talk about the sorcerrors spells.

The first spell the fireball- Why when you click to use it, its not on the mouse. Test it, always an inch above move cursor. Tested on 2 pcs.
I want the spells to go to the exact pixel i click not above it. Its like the spells are on a grid.

You target the ground, but the fireball goes at a certain height. I agree, it's confusing. I think there should be some kind of circle indicator on the ground where you're actually aiming.

Spells / abilities are extremely wonky compared to every other ARPG ive played...

Yeah, this kind of drives me crazy. I think the thing that gets me the most is when you click on an enemy, the projectile goes directly at them but if they die, and you shoot another projectile, it veers off by an inch, missing the enemies behind the one you killed.

I suppose it wont matter once you get massive AOE's that wipe out the whole screen but still annoying.

this is incredibly frustrating
This is really bad. Using cold snap, the spell goes off far away from where i click and its a reaction spell so faster you use it the more effective it'll be. Frostbolts with the scatter trait, the orbs are so far away. i have to adjust on the fly to hit my target even with the wide spread. It's pretty weird devs haven't caught onto this yet.

It's because the game tries to automatically target mobs that it thinks you want to target. Except you often don't want to target what the game thinks you want to target and there's no way to turn this crap off.
There are a few things compound to make it feel bad, abilities cast in the direction the character is actually facing so when you cast not in the strait direction you are already facing the turn animation may not fully complete before the ability goes off and will not go directly where you clicked.

Second, as stated previously you need to aim for the feet of the target due to perspective which sucks but you can get used to it, but it still feels wonky even after dealing with it for some time now

Third is the poor auto targeting where you end up attacking something other than what you are actually intending to target
