Can't go to act 2 after clicking on hooded figure in my hideout

I was playing through and made it to the end of act 1. I killed the boss there and then went to my hideout before finishing the quest. I talked to the hooded figure in my hideout, and it said quest cannot be advanced, and now shows me the act 2 map but there is no way to get there/no npcs I can talk to to get there. Has anybody else had this issue?

I had this because I did the same thing, I don't think we are supposed to be able to go to the hideout that early since you can only select the mtx one. My fix was having a friend get to the first map in act 2, party up with them and then teleport to them from party and I was able to get the quest and waypoint to continue.
