Network spikes?

Anyone else getting network spikes? I can run other games just fine for pvp and stuff but on poe2 my network constantly jumps from 28ms to like 150ms+ making the game nearly impossible to play. It's nothing to do with graphics as I have well above the recommended pc specs

1k ping spikes, it's a game issue.

Same here. It appears the spikes are caused by enemies spawning in. When im standing still and clearing my screen, the network usually stays at 20 ms. Once i move my char, to the next part of the map, it jumps up to 1000 ms.

Have the same issues with micro-stuttering. The real problem is that even if I found good server and my ping stable I still have small stutters from time to time despite there is no spikes on network, latency or any other graphs.

the problem is that poe2 is not optimized at all for servers. They are very bad at putting hte maximum on local computering and use way too much servers to calculate everything, maps loot, ennemy, and instead of passing basic id of that they pass the whole package which is very heavy on the network. So if you have a lot of players connected they need a gigantic server, which explains the problems of launch and even if the server is not full, your rooter will be always heavily loaded with a stream of s**t, so if you don't have the fiber you cannot have anyone use your internet while you play as simple as that. You need to imagine that is a big L on their part as most of the time we play alone and lots of mmo have better network management than them.

This. Everytime someone turns on the tv in my house the game starts having huge lag spikes every second.

Same as anyone here, Network just keep spiking constantly, no idea of how to fix this...it seems my friends doesn't have the issue so i'm lost

Huge lag spikes and rubber banding but I blame starlink, LET ME PLAY HC ELON!

I think it has to do with there servers. I had the same thing happening when i played POE 1 but the predictive network setting fixed that. unfortunately they didn't deign to implement it in poe 2 yet so its pretty much unplayable. I've tried different networks and servers, but nothing works. Talking to the people in global, no one I've talked to is having this issue. pain in the ass.

Same for me, unplayable on any server location. Network spikes are harsh and repeatable. Not sure if there is anything the players can do about it since its on the network.
