Network spikes?
Anyone else getting network spikes? I can run other games just fine for pvp and stuff but on poe2 my network constantly jumps from 28ms to like 150ms+ making the game nearly impossible to play. It's nothing to do with graphics as I have well above the recommended pc specs

using a VPN like Exitlag completely resovles this issue - if you guys have the same problem as me, which is package loss. There is no package loss indicator in this game so people think its a ping problem with ping spiking to 300+. but i guarantee some of you just have package loss and thats a problem usually on your ISP side. I talk from experience since this problem occurs in a lot of games. my german ISP is Deutsche Telekom and its the worst. 50% of the games i play have this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ problem (apex, battlefield and a loooot more). the solution is picking a VPN like exitlag and you are fine

I've been having this same issue since release. I have tried two different ISPs in different locations and it's been the same. I've got a decent gaming laptop and have no issues with other games...The game is great but Its difficult to progress with those random lag spikes every 5-10 seconds.

devs dont care spike etc only nerf

also have spikes from the start, everything runs fine except this game...they should focus on stability first, than tweeks on nerfs/boosts.

I have the same problem for the last couple of days. It is almost impossible to play, as if everything stops for a couple of seconds and then everything suddenly starts moving quickly. Before that I played and everything was fine, I did not encounter any similar problems. I changed servers to different ones and the problem is the same on all of them.
I looked at the system monitoring and the network constantly jumps from 48ms to like 200ms+
I thought that the problem was with my provider, but I see on the forum that many people have encountered a similar problem.

PoE 2 is extremely lag sensitive, that means that any small loss in packages means the game stuttering. The only fix to this unless they bring back predictive mode, is to get better internet.

Edit: Exitlag VPN seems to have fixed all my lag problems.

I don't know how exactly this could help, but I solved the problem in my case.
I used "Verify integrity of game files in Steam".
After that, all my network jumps stopped.
But maybe something else helped me that I don't know about. But I didn't do anything else except this.

I’ve played countless other online games but never had an issue like this.

I sincerely hope the fix isn’t going to be ironically paying for a service to play a free game. If that’s the case I’m out.

Nothing to do with having better internet bro, stop spreading misinformation.

I haven’t been able to try it yet but ppl may want to check this out. In the comments there are instructions on making network “predictive,” like original poe

Hey guys, I tried a lot of your tips. Nothing helped.

This fixed it for me:
I disabled IPv6 in my Router and never had these lagspikes again. Hope this helps anyone to fix it.
