Can you reset your active skills?
Once you use a gem to pick a skill, are you able to reset it down the line, if you realize you picked a bad skill that doesnt fit your build?

Pretty sure you just unsocket the gem. You'll have plenty of options to choose from by the time you hit endgame.

So there is no option to get the gem back if you dont like the skill ?

You take it out of your skill panel and put it back in your inventory, then you can stash it for later use if you change your mind, same for support gems.

No once it's used it's used. You can remove the gem and put another one in though

You just take it out, like support gems.

someone please correct me since i'm learing here, but as far as i know you get so many gems through drops that it's just a matter of storing the ones you dont use and save for later. That includes gems that have an actual ability.

You are correct. You can use the gems, you can put the gems that are uncut in your inventory and use them later or on another toon and you can take out any gems that you have socked and store them for later or to use on another toon.

Wrong

No that is correct, you just unsocket the gem and can sell it, or save it and just use another one. They drop semi often

not wrong, skill gems can be changed, your thinking of runes they cannot be unsocketed.

Are you saying you can change a skill gem back to an uncut skill gem? That's is what the OP is asking.

Well OP wasn't clear.

You can reset and pick a different skill to USE, you can't reset the jewel that created the skill. So it depends on if he meant recycling and re-picking the skill.

Or if he meant swapping out the skill for another skill that you unlocked
