PC is freezing completely on zone loading screen

My PC is freezing every time I try to load any zone. Ryzen 5600X, GF 3070, latest drivers, latest Windows 11 24H2. Does anyone know any workaround?

I set both POE2 executable files in the steam folder to compatibility mode for Windows 8 and so far no more freezing after playing for an hour.

It looks like the issue connected to the latest Windows 11 24H2. The workaround is to switch to DirectX 11, but I have stuttering with that, so the game is almost unplayable. GGG, please fix the game for Windows 11 24H2! 😢

Same issue with an 12900 and 6800xt. What helps is limiting the fps to 60 for me.

Try switching to Vulkan from DX12

Same here, when entering clearfell. Have to turn off power and restart. Cannot reproduce, sometimes it happens sometimes it doesnt.

The solution for me was putting everything on default in graphics, then i run dlss on dlaa, vsync locked, frame cap at 90 haven't had a single pc freeze in 3-4 hours

Crashes on both zone load-in and just random times, in combat or in town. W11 24h2, 7800X3D, 4080Super.

Found a Fix for this Problem go to the games .exe and check run as admin and run as win8 compatibility. iam gaming now fine with GPU 1080 TI, CPU 8700k, 32Gb of Ram Win 11 latest update and GPU latest update.
