Apparently we need to go through these steps, which we can't cause the site is ♥♥♥♥♥♥:

1- go to website www.pathofexile.com. link your steam or epic account if you didn't linked yet. if you don't have any account create one for linking.
2- click on home -> my account
3- click on po2 early access to check if it's status
4- if it says "Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Bribe a friend who has a spare key or purchase now." but there is a key below called "Path of Exile 2 Early Access Key" and the key. Then you should go to "Shop" -> "Redeem Key" and use the key.
5- if you don't have any keys displayed. Try to switch account. Check if there is another account the key might be sent to another account you have.

There is a report button on games page on Steam for cases when the game is released in broken state, worth using it.

No matter how many times this happens there's always impatient idiots that think you can just have thousands of people logging in to a new game with zero issues. Absolute children.

The issue here is that many of us thought the Steam key we got through the official site or through Steam, was enough to actually play the game.
Turns out you need to do some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ account linking on their website which is down.

Imagine this being the reason you can't play right now. Have some understanding and courtesy.

No. This isn't bigger than D4 and their release was smooth for the most part. And don't even try giving me something like "this is early access" ... The dev team did not prepare for this. It's their fault.
