BAD OPTIMIZATION
I'm getting around 20-30fps, even with upscaling turned ON!!!!
60fps would be the minimum for this kind of game...
Also i'm getting LOOONG loading screens.
This is just BAD OPTIMIZATION.
The game being in early access is no excuse.

My rig:
i5-4590
GTX1060 6gb
32gb RAM DDR3
The game is installed on a HDD

You don't even need to overclock, which is completely pointless majority of the time. The biggest problems in the build are the i5 and the HDD. I have a laptop that runs an i5, stock 8 gigs of RAM, GTX 1650, and with an HDD. Runs this game and any newer title just fine.

I've stress tested a bunch of builds I own with many different games and the only time it will ever be an issue is if they try to play VR Games, which is heavily reliant on a decent GPU.

This is very true, I just think it's worth pointing out that the memory on the 1060 6gb gains more performance from overclocking than some might be aware which is why it's still viable today except when it's in an AIO-cooled bookshelf mini-PC
no its not. even my nvidia rtx 2060 super is today not longer viable and only counts as "standard".

my rig is:
a ryzen 5 2600 (six cores)
like mentitioned a nvidia rtx 2060 super
and 32GB DDR 4
and THAT is the standard today which you should atleast have since you see on new games released nowadays as recommended a 2060 super. on some games even the 30xx series already as recommended.

in about 2~3 years counts my rig probably not longer as "standard" and the 30xx series will be needed.

a 1060 is nowadays not longer viable. only peoples which want to sit on their potato PC and have not the money to get a new PC saying "a 1060 is still viable today" <.<

we talking about it how terrible OP´s PC specc is for PoE 2 o.o
but OP thinks "it should be enough for PoE 2" which it isnt. ... by far not. maybe when all the graphic settings are set to low xD.

i have for example with my specc no trouble either. but like i said, OP is like "my rig should be enough for this" just because "other games run fine" i wanna see his PC playing cyberpunk and co. at full graphics, his rig would choke lol.

Making fun of somebody's RIG is not nice, That said the days of future proofing a PC is out the window, Microsoft as made things this way on purpose, compatibility is not what it used to be on older hardware so as it stands you have to build an entirely new rig every 5-8 years and blow 4 to 8k each time were before we could just upgrade a few peaces of hardware, and get great performance. Its all about that chaching chaching, all anyone cares about anymore.

im getting solid performance, nothing special with my set up with an i5 13600 and 4060TI. For how the game looks i think it runs pretty damn well.

I did switch from DX12 to Vulkan which stopped crashes. That might be helping. Im perplexed with posts of people with high end systems having issues (using dynamic resolution probably like noobs)

Keep in mind that performance will most likely improve as this is still in EA.

I have an older rig too, but the FPS for the most part has been fine (70-80+) with everything maxed.

Ryzen-3800 8core
32 GB ram
GTX 2070 super
Game is installed on an NVME SSD.

I would suggest the first place to start is to simply upgrade your GPU. There should also be optimization tweaks coming that will help.

I've got the same issue, but with console.

I keep trying to put this ps5 disc in my ps1 but it won't work. This is bull.

This is the one game I own (modern game) where I can max the settings and sit at a capped 100 fps and the GPU doesn't even hit 50'c.

Pretty awesome

I spot at least 3 Problems, why the problem is on your end and not in the game. (hint, the 32 gb ram is not one of the problems)
