BAD OPTIMIZATION

I'm getting around 20-30fps, even with upscaling turned ON!!!!
60fps would be the minimum for this kind of game...
Also i'm getting LOOONG loading screens.
This is just BAD OPTIMIZATION.
The game being in early access is no excuse.

GTX1060 6gb
32gb RAM DDR3
The game is installed on a HDD

Dude has a PC that's over 10 years old and complains that he has bad performance on a brand new title that just released designed for modern hardware. Holy hell dude... Your computer is literally worth like 40 bucks at this point.

nope, game is to my surprise very well optimised. I have more stavble and more fps on max than with other releases last few weeks and game looks amazing. but I know u are trolling ;) time to upgrade your rig bro, its out of any standards for 2024 ... that cpu is like 10 years old, its slowing you down, hdd just throuw it in to the trash bin, u NEED, its a must to have quick M2 ssd disk, at least 7GB/s minimum... with that gpu u can play with modern processor, but still its only for 1080p .. tam u have ok too, but better will be ddr5 7000Mhz ...

Game has a very good optimization to me. Granted I actually have a decent PC but so far no freezes. I do get crashes but no freezing. I am going to say what Hughjanus said. If this is your current setup then gl playing this.

Game tends to pick integrated GPU for some people instead of dedicated one, check that in Video Settings (under Display or something, can't look it up, going to bed). If it happens, go to Windows Start menu type Graphics Settings, find Browse down below, click it, locate PathOfExileSteam.exe and force it to be High Performance. There're people here reporting 40-50fps on 1060

Also-also, try switching to Vulkan instead of DirectX12, helped me (+30%)

for everyone saying that his hardware is outdated. The recommended GPU is a GTX 2060 and with a RTX 2070 I get max 22fps. I've seen a post from a guy with an RTX 4070 ti who is getting 12 fps. There is something going on with the game.

i'm running similar spec but it was surprising awesome for me.

ryzen 3600x
16gb ram
rx580 8gb
1tb nvme.

i think ur hdd is bottlenecking heavily the fps.

i'm on all high settings.
1080p
frame lock to 50fps.
is stays between 40-50fps i'm glad.

Turn on FSR.
Switch to Vulkan and DX12 slow my fps down to 20-30fps.
