Account does not have access to POE2?

I bought the early access for 30 dollars and now it says "Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Redeem an Early Access key on our website or purchase access now."

is anyone else getting this error?

I get the same error just now. It was not like this earlier. It gets thru the authentication then times out. Now it gives me that no access error.

You have to go to their website and link your steam account to their internal account. Their website is currently down and they're addressing it. Here is from their twitter:

"We're aware of players being unable to claim their Steam keys due to the Path of Exile website being down. Our website team currently has this as their top priority and have a plan of action to restore this service to allow you to play the game! A huge thanks for the grace being displayed by those affected."

Game wouldn't even accept my Steam account. Keep getting the same useless, unexplained message that "An error occurred" - No Sh*t! 'Twas bad enough dl'ing the "pre-load" and then the "game" and then not even being able to access a server to being told my Steam account is an "error." I'll play Last Epoch for the rest of the day and see if things are fixed by tomorrow and if not I'll just get my money back from Steam...they let me log-in and play and everything...just not POE2 it seems.

Sheesh! I was worried with all the orgasmic hype from the content-creators that need to shill to make bucks but this is pretty bad; not as bad mind you as was and is D4-whatever but at least it's not the end of the world. I can wait until tomorrow to either play or get a refund.

watching my brother play 2 feet from me, it not all steam users, he didnt have to create an account or anything, it asked me to make one but the authentication link never loaded anything and timed out, hope i didnt screw myself

thats ok if you link your xbox pc and steam account when you log in you get 3 accounts now to click through smh
