LET US LAUNCH THE GAME

We all know we might have a que reset. Thats not the point. I want to have the game up and ready. Why is steam the only one with no green launch button yet?

Edit: LAUNCHING THE GAME AND MAKING A CHARACTER AND PLAYING ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. Standalone you can LAUNCH THE GAME everything is installed. STEAM is still only preloaded. Thats the point of this thread.

The average person watches about 3 hours of tv a day so it's not that crazy. At least with POE your mind is active unlike with TV.

How on linux? Becuse on steam its only preloaded. Thats part of the problem. Steam has to finish the install while standalone client is done installing and *you can launch the game*

In poe 1 its normal that people could start queuing 1 to 2 hours prior to the servers opening.

This, if you play on steam you'll launch the game into a 1000000 people queue unless we're lucky and theres a patch on release.

I mainly just want to know the game is up and running. I dont mind a que. Steam needs to get going. The green play button has no business still being grey

no you don't.. the game is launched on mulitple platforms.
Steam and EGS for example wont allow a game to get released if it's not actually released, AKA you can't start it before that time.
they dont have that issue with their own standalone launcher since they make the rules with that one.

No the stand alone is if you are using GGG client to play and not steam or epic.

Devs wait until a measly 24 hours ago to shift the actual launch date about ~12 hours. You're not wrong for being frustrated. This community is proving they're a bunch of cowards, sycophants, and general turds to pile onto you. It says a lot about this game, and my gut told me to hold off on buying the EA pack.

The community along with PAUSE GATE has ensured I'm definitely holding off for now.

the launch timer never shifted? the game was announced to get released at 11am PST, and its still gonna release at 11am PST, which is in 2 hours.

ahhh thanks mate, I guess I should stop the client which appears to be currently installing the game.. in addition to my steam preload lol..

I only have 3 years of college I cant handle such a complicated launch.

unless you download the standalone launcher.

Steam have all files encrypted and they wont get decrypted before the game releases.
