ridiculous lol.. why complain about shops for cosmetics? makes absolutely no difference to the individual players game experience... some like a shiny character some done care... i personally don't care about cosmetics or do i care if others buy them, play the game,ignore the cosmetics, its not a pay to win feature so its fine, games are expensive and cosmetics are just another way players can support game makers if they choose to, learn to chill man its a free game so you are not being squeezed in any way whatsoever.

What an L take. Would be a good take if the microtransactions in PoE/PoE2 had any impact on player power or progress, but they do not. I share your sentiments in regards to actual P2W games where the microtransactions provide power or gambles for power. But for PoE, the purely optional cosmetic microtransactions are their only form of revenue and many are willing to buy them because of the quality and love they pour into the game. I understand the hate on mtx, but ggg is one if the few that do it right imo. No pay to win, minor convenience at worst otherwise purely art.

If ubisoft was in charge of poe2, that would be a nightmare, otherwise 30 for fans that gives you the same ingame currency to spend on their ingame store isn't that hard of a sale.

They do have more expensive packs for those who simply want to support the devs, everything in the pack has 0 real influence on the game. Hell some of the mtx will make the game harder since the screen gets overfilled to the point of being unable so see anything else.

No, he isn't. I'm not going to bother going into the why, its been said to death all over the community why nobody minds GGG's monetization. If it was as problematic people like OP want to believe it was, PoE won't be the monumental success it has been for the past going on 12 years.

This is a very obvious attempt to farm jester points the day of the game's release when anticipation is peaked. Not rewarding that tripe.
