Thats actually the most reasonable answer one could give to the question.
There are bound to be tons of giveaways for keys too, so you might get one gifted, too!
I've been playing Path of Exile 1 for a few years now, and am generally satisfied and happy with GGG as a dev and publisher, so I'm excited to give the game a go in early access and was happy to pay for it (though unneeded because I uhh... spent maybe a bit too much of poe1)
To be honest I don't think that's good advice. POE1 is notorious for not being beginner friendly, and POE2 is known to improve on that. Besides, POE1 looks quite dated nowaways.
i am not the one. FOH with your rage baiting self flagellation.
For Poe 2 they have tried to do their best to make it new player friendly.
The series is a Diablo clone, but with infinitely more customization with builds (absolutely ridiculous amount of abilities you have access to compared to the handful of Diablo's static classes). Otherwise they will play very similarly if you've played Diablo 3 or 4, or some other clone titles like Viking: Wolves of Midgard, Victor Vran, Van Helsing, Dungeon Seige 3, Marvel Heroes Omega, etc.
But if you want to play any game in the genre, PoE 2 would be the best choice.
Only issue is, do you want to play it in an incomplete state? (will be in early access estimated 6 to 12 months and more than doubling the content during that time)
I am too interested and invested to not play it right now. With the level of quality, and not much else out there.
