They still don't want you to respec willy nilly of course, but it should be actually possible this time to adjust your build as you go, which wasn't in the previous game.
And since there will be no build guides, nobody is gonna play the game
It will be the first 0-player game on Steam
For NPC vendors and such yeah there's gold, it can't be traded. Player trading is still based on items and crafting currency.
You have gold currency. Like in last expansion in PoE 1.
Diablo2 you gotta do the right skill tree. Diablo 4 you gotta do the right skill trees. Any other game Guild Wars 1, gotta do the right skill tree.
Sure you can do your own build, when people wondering why you doing 2% dps, everyone else is doing 30% dps, and all those people get mad at you because you not holding your weight.
No brainer, you gotta do the meta. You gotta change build, its bad, 3% dps, not good. You not carrying the weight by a longshot, sorry but not sorry, kicking you to curb. We gotta get this boss downed, you not helping because you too worried about not doing meta. You wanna be rebel and do that kind of dps, we don't time for games like that.
Its 2024, you gotta play the meta, you gotta always be thinking min/max, min/max
Whisper, the next Baal run, its gonna be changed name, don't want that 3% dps person leeching on these runs, we need a better person for the next run.
The REAL QUESTION should be, is there going to be a DPS meter.
The REAL ANSWER should be yes. Because someone going to get it, people gonna use the 3rd party anyways. Should be in game because people gonna get a dps meter in game or not.
Having an in game dps meter, lets those funky build people, lets those 3% dps while everyone else is 30% dps, lets that person 3% dps know, you gotta change your build, there is a reason why not happy with you, look your dps, you open the in game dps meter, see, yeah that bad, get good change that build its bad.
Thats why there is builds online, because people don't play with baddies, they give you free build so you not bad and people start enjoy being around you because you aint bad, you aight.
You def need some braincells for that
But if you someone like just no time to read, gogogo, reading and looking at everything, is not your forte, AND you don't want to use the known good builds. That leads to disaster.
So you gotta be either or, and people not going to be happy to be playing with those 3% of the groups dps and your dps class players.
If you worried about people always tell you to lookup a good build and play it. Probably means your baddie. You got to take it in a different way.
We want to play with you, but you gotta hold your weight.
Rather than
Your garbage, do this or uninstall.
Play the meta, be a glass half full mindset and assume "we love ya, but carry your own weight, good place to start, using a meta build"
That sorta complexity
