Standalone Client Preload

Anyone figure that out yet? I'm on the PoE 2 page and cannot figure it out. Preload opened at 5 pm est, no? If anyone has succeeded at finding the client, please let me know.

Steam client is encoded and takes an eternity to unpack, even on decent hardware. I'm going for the web sit OG client first, Steam second - post-launch

Yeah, I'm going direct to GGG with this one. Hopefully I can use my key afterwards to put it on Steam. Otherwise I'll just wait for F2P to do that.

You can add it to Steam already.
Assuming you're logged into the PoE website, click your name on the top left, then in the categories on the right side click on "Path of Exile 2 Early Access"
You'll have a Steam Client Key and an Epic Client Key.

They were out of steam/epic keys somehow the other day and it said "unavailable" for my buddy. You may have to wait if they are in the same situation.

Hmm. Yeah, I'm definitely playing it safe. Once I get the game downloaded and launched and all that, THEN I'll try to redeem the Steam key and see what happens. This is going to be awesome.

1 hour to go. I think nobody truly knows if preloading might be available on Steam, but it probably won't be.

I am really trying to figure this pre loading for Steam thing out if anyone actually has correct information, I would very much appreciate If they would post It. Some sort of guide ? I know I have an account on PoE.com and I purchased the $100 support pack. I have no idea how to get the pre loading to work with steam. If I download the preload client without steam, where does that leave me with Steam ? I'm confused. Please help.

There is no pre-load for Steam. The standalone client is available now on the poe website https://www.pathofexile.com/download.

You can play on standalone now and add steam later. All you progress is stored server side so you won't lose anything other than played hours tracked on Steam
