Every 15-30min I just lose a map and 3 tablet uses because they're too busy doing content balancing... This ♥♥♥♥ has been a problem since the league went live and has only gotten worse, how tf have they done nothing about it yet?

I am on CachyOS too. And since this latest patch i have been having Crashes to Desktop. I can play for like 3-6 minutes.

At it's worst it is crashing every few minutes, but usually it is crashing for me once a map if not more... It's not restricted to Linux either, it's happening to me on Windows. I've tried both Direct X 12 and Vulkan as the API and while Vulkan seemed more stable than DX12, it still couldn't get through a single map witout crashing.

I'm also on Windows, and it did crash less often with Vulkan, but now enemies and ground effects aren't loading in so I'm still losing about the same amount of maps.

I used to crash in 0.4 a lot. Finally found the right settings to make it stop. Haven't had a crash yet this league, and probably for 100 hours last league after fixing my problem. I hope you can find a solution as well.

I don't think i need to change my setting at all. Have been playing this game up until now without issue. Had rare crashes. But now it is every 3-6 minutes. I think they messed something up big time.

may I ask what settings you have adjusted ?
For me it is the opposite - 0.4 and previous leagues it worked fine. And suddenly in 0.5 it crashes every 30 min or sometimes "only" every hour if I am lucky

Where are they to be found? Are you saying that older shaders are loaded from versions prior to 0.5.3 might cause the game to crash?

So for those on linux. Steams own shader cache has no meaning. I found the place where POE2 saves shadercache.

./SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/2694490/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Application Data/Path of Exile 2/ShaderCacheVulkan/

Gonna backup the folder and delete it's content. I'll let you know if it changes anything.

yes I did.
For a friend of mine this actually worked - he is getting crashes very rarely now.
For me it did not change a thing unfortunately.
I even increased the size of the cache but still getting crashes

you need to uninstall windows. go to arch linux and transcend.
