tysm!
The only things that could confuse players who are approaching Poe for the first time is the progression system, the skill tree and the gems for skills on your character.
But once you understand how it works and especially watching the video guides on the internet you will see that it is all very simple, the classic: "Easy to learn, hard to master".
A question of habit and practice like everything.
Hello,
I'll summarize, play it, you may like it or hate it.
I'm glad Path of Exile has a strong follow up and its existing fans go out of their way to defend/protect the game they love. That said...
I play a lot of ARPGs. I hate PoE. Why? As this person notes:
Again, I'm glad people love the game(s), but not being able to finish a/the game because the mechanics (do a search on: POE mechanics) alone will deter you as they are are as complex as quantum mechanics (unless you spend as much time or more in guides as you spend in the game). This game is often called an Excel simulator for good reason.
Do try the game; with individuals having different tastes and more importantly time to spend in a game you may find something you love (or hate).
