Banned from POE 1

So my steams path of exile got banned for some reason years ago from GGG I always play on POEs launcher now and I bought Path of exile 2 on steam and I wonder if me being banned from POE 1 gets me banned from POE 2 on steam. If so is there refunds so I can get it from GGG themselves.

POE is connected to your steam account. So I would assume the ban still stands.
You're better off sending a message to GGG support to sort it all out. - than waiting til tomorrow, then the download to see that you're still banned and then have to wait even longer after that.

You would have to connect your standalone POE account to your steam account, but your steam accounts poe account got banned. So its muddied the water as to how you'd navigate all that without support.

They just did it who the f knows. Some random person clicked your name and went, f this person in particular.

If you're trying to use the same poe1 account in poe2, yes it will still be banned. Jonathan Rogers confirmed this in an interview. Better make a new account unfortunately.

Refunding from Steam will get your Steam PoE account banned, but well, you're already banned. So you can do that and rebuy it on a standalone account not linked to Steam.

Or Contact support and try to get an unban.

They ban for a refunds? Nice company...

Steam usually you get to play for up to 3 hours or so and can refund if not enjoying, but after 3 hours you can't refund. So, you'll find out quickly, can you create a character you can, which only took 10 minutes. That means you can play the game.

Usually bans are specific to whatever game, and not every game they own.
Easy way to check is try logging into another game they made, that you never played and if you cannot login in, then its probably a company wide ban.

But likely just a game ban. Its a new game so you got a clean slate.
Don't get banned. Read the rules. You got banned you did something you not suppose to do. They told you, and you got banned.

You don't like being banned, don't what they told you not to do in this game too.
