However, game director Jonathan Rogers has confirmed that PoE 2 is playable on Steam Deck and runs smoothly at 40 FPS.
Yeah definitely doesn't run amazing but it's still really playable. Text is really small though for my aging eyes. What I did is switch to directx 12 from Vulkan and use xess quality, Texture to medium, lighting to shadows only and shadow quality to low as well as disable dynamicresolution. Capped it at a mostly stable 30fps and looks good
Maybe on the OLED version everything is better, but on the LCD stem deck it is difficult to play comfortably.
Small text, performance drops, input lag, etc.
