it really is amazing look up reviews, you boot it up and click the X multiplier you want.

you click the frame generation tab you want, i use LSFG 2.3 and either 2-4x for more fps

i use it for rust, dragons dogma2 and the monster hunter wilds beta. it's pretty much like having a 4000 series card that has DLSS gen

No I don't think it will handle the game. Recommend going to Micro Center, go get yourself the 64GB RAM. Its 2024, 32GB thats not much. How many cores is your processor? Need like 24 cores its 2024.
Gotta get the 244Hz monitor too, if not you will not be as good as the rest of the community.
244Hz is minimum, 360Hz if you want to be competitive.

so you have to ask yourself, you just playing to play. or you trying to be competitive? playing with a purpose? if you playing with a purpose its time to upgrade.

you'll surelly be able to, maybe not if you want like 144, but 60 surelly yes

Worst case, you might want to check out a 3rd party scaling app called Lossless Scaling.

Scaling isn't great at 1080p, but if you need more then it's an option. It can force FSR on any app for you in PoEII doesn't include it by default.

I have not been able to try out LS for PoE2 yet, but in other games it gives a nice performance boost. Just make sure your GPU has enough power to render the basis frames with some power left, then LS can improve your fps with enough stability.

I use x2 setting in other games. For example; i limit a game to render 77fps max (with for example 70% GPS usage), then LS multiplies it x2 to get 144FPS with for example 90% GPU load total. You might see some artifacts if you focus on it, but generally it works quite well.

I was looking at the benchmarks and a 1080ti is only 20% lower benchmark under a RTX 3070, which is pretty crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if that card could run this game okay, even though its aged. That was definitely one of the best cards of any given generation.

My 4070ti is getting like 140fps so I would think that card might do okay.

+1 for us ‘ancients’ still rocking 1080Ti’s - I have the EVGA SC2 AIO version, with a R7 5800X3D, 32GB Ram and a couple of gen4 nvme’s. 3440x1440 34” screen, but can use my TV at 1080p if I must.

Am getting the EA on Tuesday so fingers crossed it will be at least playable.

the game is slower paced and there's not 1 million particles/mobs on screen. I'm sure that also plays a part in the performance.
