HOW TO PRE-LOAD PATH OF EXILE 2
I've seen this question asked a hundred times in the last 24 hours and barely anyone is answering correctly. It's super simple, and this is how. If you haven't already grabbed your early-access key from the official Path Of Exile website then here's how you do that.
First your going to want to go to www.pathofexile.com/my-account/early-access. It will prompt you to login, if you have an account, login, if you don't, create one, it takes less than a minute. After logging in, claim your key by navigating to the my account, then early-access tabs on the website (BOTH Steam and EA keys are there), input the corresponding key into Steam or Epic store (if using EA). You Will Be Able To Pre-load The Game @ 5pm TODAY!!!!

works both ways, The Devs have said already if you Buy it on Steam, its activated.. in any case you can still use the Key in Steam from the aforementioned website, it wont do anything else.. see ya all on the other side when EA launches!

Pre load so far is only for the GGG Poe2 client not steam

With Path of Exile 2 launching into Early Access soon, we've had a lot of players asking for pre-download to ensure they can play on launch. To accommodate this, we’ll be making the standalone PC client available for download at 5pm on Thursday, December 5th (PST), or Dec 06, 2024 2:00 AM (GMT+1) in your local time. Please note that when patching begins for Path of Exile 2 Early Access you may also have a few remaining files that you’ll need to update as well.

After downloading the Path of Exile 2 client, you won't be able to login until Early Access launches at 11am on Friday, December 6th (PST), or Dec 06, 2024 8:00 PM (GMT+1) in your local time. If you're not sure, check the timer on our website.

The client download will be available through the Path of Exile 2 website, but we'll also be providing a torrent with the client download at the same time.

We're still looking into making pre-download available for other platforms and will update this post when they become available.

Updates for other platforms:
Xbox - pre-download is already available. There will likely be updates on launch.
PlayStation - Founder's packs should go live 24 hours before Early Access starts. Purchasing one of these packs should allow for pre-download on PS5.

If you purhcase via steam, steam takes a cut. So if you purchase in-game currency to use in-game, GGG loses 30%. If you purchase directly from GGG , through the game, then opens on GGG website, then steam does NOT get a cut.

If you purchase through GGG doesn't XSOLLA get the same cut? I hate working with XSOLLA, many issues with bad charges.
