I said I want to actually own a game, be able to play it offline, and NOT have problems literally invented for the purpose of selling solutions such as limited inventory space.

For one all actual playable content (new monsters, bosses, game mechanics, etc) is always free. There are also no daily chores or other tricks to try and make you login every day or even every week. No chores, no progress gates, no time gates, nothing. You can play as much or as little as you want without the game restricting or interrupting you.
The microtransactions are 90% cosmetic, with the remaining 10% being stash tabs which cost about $5 to $10 or even less if they're on sale, which they frequently are. The game starts you with 4 anyway which is plenty for a new player.
I understand the skepticism regarding live service titles as like 90% of them are garbage, but PoE is not one of them and PoE2 doesn't appear to be either. They're just traditional games that sell microtransactions to support further development and charge you nothing to try the game.
To be clear PoE2 is not free yet, but it will be after early access ends. The general consensus is that EA will last for 6-12 months.
And yeah, it seems bad to buy into something that'll eventually get turned off but given that PoE has gotten regular updates for the last 11 years, I don't think you need to worry about PoE2 either. Like go take a look at how much free content's been added to PoE over the years. There's a reason why many people return to PoE season after season.
Are you implying that Black Myth Wukong isn't a real game or is your keyboard stuck?
I think your keyboard is stuck because the alternative wouldn't make sense.
