Why do people keep saying PoE 2 F2P when it has paywall?
The game literally requires you to pay 30$ to play it, why do fans of this game keep insisting on using the word "free"

You know elden ring could also be released for 60$ and then FREE on steam a year later, you would still say "yeah its free now, but on release it was 60$" right ?

Dont be shy, just admit that PoE 2 is not free.

Why do slow people not know the difference between early access period and full game?
Genuine question, is it a learning issue?

Well then you can call it free in 6 to 12 months.
Nothing wrong with admitting its not a free game.

So if you want to play it in EA and more less be a beta tester for the game they want to charge you but soon games finished its free? This makes no sense to me and seems backwards but w/e

What's backwards is that they are letting people use their mtx from the first game in this. It's give and take, if you want to support them do so, if not come back when it goes f2p.

C'mon guys, they just want to open a circus =P
StrikA Dec 3, 2024 @ 11:45am
You are basically paying for unfinished open-beta game :)
Otterking Dec 3, 2024 @ 11:54am
Honestly they should never make it f2p and up the price to $60. It's that good of a game.

To differentiate between people who can read and people who can't.
ShadowArcanist Dec 3, 2024 @ 12:00pm
Not to mention I'm sure they are aware most people who want to play the game will be paying now. In 6 - 12 months from now most people will already have paid so it will only be free for people who only try it because its free.
