This is a good counter argument, but I would throw this under "classy" skimpy attire as it's gritty, realistic and reflective of the setting. In a way PoE1 had some of this with Act 2 NPCs.
It's just when you start to see signs of latex and gravity/physics defying "armour," that must be glued onto the skin somehow, is when I draw the line. Sexy School girl outfits are right out! :p :P
Conan etc. did start the chain mail bikini memes though before memes, and long before DnD!
True. There's a clear correlation between say anime inspired Japanese games and blatant skimpyness of the attire within them. And the number of school girl outfits. :D
I agree some of the armors do look skimpy or seductive might be a better word as i was checking out some of the witch armors today and was rather impressed as some of them gave off a certain sexy vibe. Am from the old school of the hidden can be just as attracting as the revealing having grown up watching many Christopher Lee DRACULA horror films where a woman's beauty was respectfully shown in all its glory and power.
+1
They did showcase one somewhat skimpy armor set for sorceress in the EA gameplay trailer.
poe is like 10 years old diablo 4 is like this year, nice comparison.... lul
-Bro my car is much better looking than your car, like bro what year did you buy the car?, uhhh bro i bought it like last week bro, bro that's epic bro.
.....what your post reminds me of.
Uhh.. https://www.hotrod.com/news/53-iconic-1932-deuce-ford-hot-rods/photos/
The quintessential "hot rod" is still a car made in 1932.
How it is customized and cared for is ultimately what makes it's popularity and beauty such a time tested and sought after vehicle in the community.
I think that there are some cool looking MTX armors in PoE, it's not really my main focus when I am playing since I am concentrating on the environment or my inventory 99% of the time. I got a void cape, and the crusader armor and that's all I've ever used. Have bought several stash tabs though
