But all your purchases carry between the games, so the PoE1 player can just play PoE2 and keep their MTX and stash tabs.
If poe2 becomes slowly a poe bis by updating the difficulty and slowness of the game, then there will be no reason for poe 1 to exist.
The games are completely separate, so you only have PoE players playing others running PoE, and the same for PoE 2.
There is no crossplay in form of "poe to poe2"
