Ascendancy? (subclass) No, for now. They will probably allow it later due to overwhelming player feedback, but they haven't said they will.
Only reason to pick a class is because of their ascendancy, and because they have a favorable starting position on the tree. We don't know what Templar in PoE2 will have for Ascendancy power yet.
Oh it will be "boring" after your xth times, After playing poe 1 for first few years of its life only fighting dominus(3 acts), I just want to get it over with. Same thing with poe 2, just 3 acts.... but luckily it only last about 6 months instead of years.
Most people play the newest league/season. It's like the ladder resets in Diablo 2, or the seasons in Diablo 4.
If you don't want to, you can play Standard, which is like Eternal in Diablo 4.
And I'm not talking about new skills, new items, new league specific items etc.
So most people will create at least new char for the league. Considering there are about 4 leagues per year, you might do 10+ chars per year if you're an active player, so that means 10+ times you'll rush the campaign.
After 3 or 4 years you might be at 30+ times of having seen the campaign... Imagine yourself redoing 30 times the same game.
One thing GGG should do is look at warhammer 40k inquisitor system. in this game, you can choose to not do the campaign if you have already done it, get all the benefits of doing it (except level ups) and start mapping at lv 5, since all the maps are always around your level (around +-10) you'll level up by only doing maps.
The endgame will be longer, but at least it's the endgame. With how the new atlas will work, it might be a good idea to look at a similar solution.
Obviously changing class will never happen
Changing sub-classes for now is also no, but is subject to change. Almost everyone dislikes it at the moment.
There is a financial incentive for GGG to keep it that way but I wouldstill assume they will cave eventually and revert that decision, because it's pretty stupid and everyone will dislike it no matter what
The way GGG sees it, is that if everyone wants to skip the campaign, then it's a problem with the campaign.
And if you make a game that has a skippable campaign, then you shouldn't have bothered even making one.
People don't have a problem grinding the same map thousands of times with the same tileset, so it's not a problem of the content being same-y. It's more a problem of people feel the campaign isn't rewarding and they can't play the build they want.
