I am thinking to main Witch in POE 2

I am usually warrior main in all games like D3 D4 and even when i tried POE1 i played warrior . But witch seems so interesting to me .
what kind of pain i am putting myself going witch 1st ?

you will not have fun when you are a melee warrior guy, but who cares you will play another class later

I think you will be fine playing the witch. Pain is probally gonna be that which comes from off screen.

You can play the classes however you want. You are not restricted to what weapon or skills you use. It might be beneficial to build around the ascendancy classes, but it's not necessary.

The pain you are putting yourself into is the same you already feel. You are unsure, you want to play, but you can not. It's just not Dez. 6th and you are not even in queue....
No matter what character you choose, some streamer on twitch will have a better char. This is why you now have FOMO even before the game is out.
Tbh, we all should just refund and get a life.

Except for the part where you have to replay the whole boring campaign once you realize you've made a wrong choice and want to try new class. There is no place for error during class selection unless you like to waste your life on hours-long B-grade radio shows (there aren't any videos/cutscenes iirc) and long, long hours of leveling

Its much easier to reset Skill points in POE2. Hard to mess your character up.
