is it free to play on the 6th or early access?? confused due to being able to buy early access support pack.

Early Access will start on Dec 6 and will last 6-12 months.

You need to buy a early acces supporter pack to be able to play the 6th. Otherwise you have to wait around 6 months to play (where it will be free for everyone to play)
But you would and should probally buy the supporter pack like the one for the lowest price since it give you 300 points i think is the correct number which you can then use to buy an extra stash forexample in your private chest and ofc you get to play from the 6th and not have to wait around 6 months or so to be able to play!

Path of Exile 2 will be going into "Closed" Early Access on December 6th 2024*, wherein one must pay $30 for an Early Access Supporter Pack (Which also gives $30 of MTX currency to spend in POE 1 or POE 2)

After roughly 6 months(minimum) to 12 months to 18 months(probably not that long) the game will "Release" into Free to Play 1.0 with all 12? classes and 6? acts and cost 0$ to access.

Better they buy now than before the 6th because then ggg not know how many there will play if let say 100.000 players suddenly buyed the game the 5th they have like no time to upgrade server for such an amount. This is what i fear more than if people buy it a week before the game drops. So please buy the game now yes! Before we get closer to the 6th

No, EA is not free on the 6th.

The FAQ states EA will last at least 6 months. But no real date. There has been expectations of the EA possibly lasting up to 12 months. SO F2P is possible in June to December 2025.
