Intel Core i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz good enough for poe2?
I have 16g of ram, and a decent GPU, everything meets the recomended requirements, except my CPU ...which says 2.3 ghz (not 2.8). I also have no clue if it's a 4 core. My comp just says the info above, I looked that up but it still didn't tell me anymore.

I have not run into anything I can't run yet that I have bought. Elden ring, Balders gate 3 etc, but I'm worried about PoE2, especially since i'll need to get a starter pack just to try it initially.

Anyone know if I will be able to run it with my CPU?

Thanks!!

Laptop CPUs are hard to compare as they have configurable TDP and varying success with their cooling. It should probably be ok for some solo or couch coop gameplay, but maybe don't expect nonstop 6player action to be pretty.

According to Intel it's an 8 core (16 threads) CPU.

Ah thank you. Yeah, I know it's sad, but I only want to play solo. I can stay away from summon builds etc if I have to. 8 core sounds like it'll meet the reqs especially since I meet the recomended reqs for everything else. That is the only one that doesn't meet the min req at 2.3 ghz. I have not had trouble playing anything yet with it, but also have not been looking forward to anything (Except maybe elden ring when it came out) as much as PoE 2. I guess worst case I just have to get it upgraded or a new system, but they are pretty expensive and I don't think you can upgrade CPU's on laptops very easily.

Anyway thanks for the info, especially the 8 core part!

wth are u talking? Your CPU has absolutely nothing to do with whether you play solo, “couch coop” or with 6 people. People like you are just embarrassing and unnecessary. If you have no idea whatsoever, it's better if you just shut up instead of spreading your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

To come back to the actual question. Yes, you can play the game with this CPU without any problems.
