How is trading going to work?

Currency trading works like in the current poe1 league and uses a currency exchange system, which is a UI that lets you put up buy orders and sell orders which will be fulfilled automatically. Gear has to be traded from player to player. GGG will have a trade website where you can find the items and message the players. You then normally meet up in the players hideout.

All act towns are public and you will see other players in the towns but people generally trade in their hideouts. Hideouts are like private bases that each player has and you can invite other players to it.

In Poe1 you just whisper the player and he joins your game. Pretty updated system but it is what it is lol

Yeah like people say ,there's the currency AH and player to player trade , for best experience you need a premium stash tab , you put the item in and set a price, it will appear on the trade website , a buyer will whisper you , you invite and trade

I wish they would add a webform in the game that displays the trading page, just so that we can have it in game, and not having to go to the site everytime.
They can keep the messaging system to not automate things too much, but needing 2 screens to trade can really be cumbersome.

POE Overlay has that feature.
I don't think GGG will ever add that.
They kept dragging their feet even adding a currency trader ingame.
Only when they saw what Last Epoch did with trading they suddenly woke up and are all for it.

For Path of Exile I use PoE Overlay [www.poeoverlay.com] for that. It has an in game market place that allows you to search for items and whisper people without leaving the game. Kyusung, the developer, has already announced that he will work on a PoE2 version, which should be released a couple of weeks after the release of early access.

That would be best and they did speak about it in interviews. They said they will try to do something but I do not know how long we will have to wait to get something like that.
