Last I played PoE 1 it was 2016, could someone tell me how much they spent on stash tabs in PoE1 to be comfortable? Since im sure itll be same in PoE2 cus MTX are carrying over

Hard to say , you will get less items/loot in poe2 .
A lot of time you will have to gamble ur gear from the shop vendor .
Starter pack for 30$ should be enough imo for the start .

I would wait for a stash tabs sale with 20% discount they do one every 3 weeks and buy. Currency Stash Tab 60,Map Stash Tab 120,Stash Tab Bundle 110 Add six extra tabs to your shared stash (at a discounted price),Premium Stash Tab(good to trade items) 30 points total 320 points. You get 4 stash tabs for free
I have 27 stash tabs with the 4 included for free, I don't have a quadtab but I might get one
In 4500h that's plenty for me

Wait for PoE2 develop a bit to check which will be the better tabs for this game. Could be different than PoE1. In PoE, map and currency were the best, and some premium if you trade or for comodity.

IN every case, when you are sure which ones you need, always wait for discount

In any case, at least in PoE1, you dont need more than 1 currency, 1 divination, 1 maps, and a set of premium. The others are just QoL, but I dont see them as necessary.

PoE2 starts differently, with currency squish and conversions. Also there is a good chance the game will be different after F2P transition six months later.

So we don't know how it'll look in the end :lunar2019piginablanket:

I disagree, QUAD honestly are really bad, its harder to pick and see items there.

They permanently have to stop using real money to gain access every stash tab right now.

Personally I've spent about 60 bucks in my 10+ years of playing. Currency, Map, Essence, Fragment, Div Card, quad tab, and a premium tab bundle. I think that comes to 590 with sale pricing.

That's all I've ever felt I needed. Especially since they added the affinities to premium tabs so you can filter other league mechanics into them.

I mean, it is only way they can really monetize the game.

It turned me off a long time ago cos just feels cheap (especially when you were a backer and the game was never f2p for you lol) but they’ve made it their core business model with this game, beyond cosmetics obviously.

So as much as they should, I agree, I highly doubt they ever will without a base price tag for the game. That’s the part I love. $30 price tag post EA people would lose their minds, but bucking up $60-90 for stash tabs, eh, no worries xD

Stash tabs also cause costs on their side. The databases and storage etc. costs real life resources. It is already amazing enough that a one time purchase of a stash tabs give you that stash tab forever for every league and character. Most other games that sell stash tabs only sell it for a month or limited to a specific character etc.

Completely ignore this, most of those aren't remotely needed.

I fixed it, and others like Fragment stash tab, are nice, but not needed. So $30-40 gets you all the main stuff, especially as those prices weren't listed on sale which is literally every 3 weeks.

Currency and quad is all you need. We don't even know if map tab will be needed in POE2, but currency and quad are a must.

500 bucks on sale, but I like hoarding, so you can get away with less than that.
