I'm incredibly excited to play Poe2 , this is everything I wanted and more.
The art/art style , graphics, spell effects, ost , monster/boss design, changes to the systems, skill gems out of gear, in game wiki, better explanations and more , it looks amazing
The bosses in poe2 are so well done, souls like with good hitboxes, mechanics. I love that you can dodge and the bosses in maps don't just melt.
All the Poe2 endgame systems Breach,Expedition,Ritual,Delirium,Trial of Sekhema(ex sanctum),Trial of the Chaos(ex ultimatum) are past Poe1 league mechanics that they introduced back in the base game and that's how they build a massive endgame system
All this content is only 50% of the content at release and after release the leagues/expansions will be massive too
I bought the EA pack for Poe1 in 2012 after 4500h , here we go again in Poe2 <3
My recommendation to new players is to focus on a one thing at a time ,set goals , like finishing the campaign and take it slow.
Coop will be better in Poe2, skills interact with each other like they showed in the gameplay trailer
I have 1500h in D3,500h D4,2000h or so in D2. For me D3/D4 are arcady games that I play 14/20h/ character get max lvl,get good gear, do millions, billions, trillions of dmg ,get bored .
Poe on the other hand is 100-200h/character
Idk, man. I don't own Diablo IV
Well it's cheaper than D4 for more content, so that's probably the best selling point for someone who hasn't played either.
There will always be something better around the corner.
Focus on a one thing at a time ,set goals , like finishing the campaign and take it slow, coop will be better too in Poe2 skills interact with each other like they showed in the gameplay trailer so if a player puts down a flame wall you can interact with that shoot lightning through it and it will buff your skill , a lot of interactions like that
Why pay premium for crap when you can play premium for much less than the premium price?
PoE isn't better than Diablo 2, just a different game in the same genre.
PoE 2 won't be "better" than Diablo 4. I mean, YOU might like it more. I have no idea. The general consensus is that PoE is more "hardcore" and complicated than the Diablo series.
You can like more than one top down ARPG. Despite what the internet would have you believe on the subject.
I like Grim Dawn, Titan Quest, Diablo 2, Diablo 4, Torchlight 2, PoE...
No one knows about PoE2 yet, though...As it's not out. Even when it is out, it'll be unfinished in EA for a while.
As a live service game, it's also never really be finished.
For sink time in gameplay - it allows you to do much more than Diablo 4, first by combining all the previous leagues it accumulated in 10 years (some were thrown away, some came back improved, most retained), and much broader end-game with several options what to do depending on your taste. And the variety of builds is also very large due to the amount of skill gems and items in it.
