Help me Brethren

So I've never played poe but the boys told me if there was ever a dev to support it was this one. I bought one of the packs and I'll go in to the EA with 3000 coins. My question is are there absolute must haves to get first in the shop or should I just willy nilly the whole stash.

Nothing on the store has any power, they're simply cosmetic or utilitarian. This is just a "skin" (Rings aren't actually visible) for your Ring, it doesn't change that stats of the item it's on.

Why thank you! I've never though I can buy cosmetics for something that isn't even visible on the character but GGG's monetisation is something else

Wait until the game goes live. Some tabs from POE 1 might not make it into POE 2.

Even worse, it was in a Mystery Box at launch so people who really wanted it had to buy a ton of boxes.
But Mystery Box contents enter the store 2 leagues later if you want to wait.

Just get some stash tabs and then save the points just in case there are some cosmetics you REALLY want

I like the beefy armor or green armor, I'm happy with either or.

If you've never played PoE, I suggest waiting altogether to buy anything. I didn't buy stash tabs for PoE until I had 200+ hours in, and I never actually needed them, and I was a hoarder.
If you play 30+ hours a week and you catch yourself spending tons of time in the endgame, THEN buy stash tabs, as you WILL need them. If you end up getting to end game, but stop not too far in, then those tabs are mostly going to be a waste.
If you do the ladder, you can spend every coin on cosmetics instead.
