Help me Brethren

So I've never played poe but the boys told me if there was ever a dev to support it was this one. I bought one of the packs and I'll go in to the EA with 3000 coins. My question is are there absolute must haves to get first in the shop or should I just willy nilly the whole stash.

Wait and see.

In PoE 1 - Map stash tab and Currency stash tab are must have. And 1 Premium tab for trading. There are other really useful ones too(Fragment, Divination card, Uniques stash if you wanna hoard).

But in PoE 2, some things are different so not sure which tabs would be the best. I'm gonna wait and see what extra tabs I'll get on top of the ones I have already.

Also, buy the tabs when they are on sale for better value. (sales are often for them)

Stash tabs will go on sale the weekend early access releases. You'll need a few, but can buy them then. Everything else is just cosmetic so buy what you like... or don't.

I would recommend only buying things when they are on sale. Stash tabs go on sale every second weekend after a new league starts.

There is something on sale right now that you could pick up if you want to be a Happy Little Loot Goblin.

The Pilfering Ring is on sale right now, it's an item that tracks how many currency items you've picked up.

There's no reason to assume it won't work in poe2, since it's basically just a stat tracker you slap onto a ring slot. Looking at poedb, it seems to go on sale once a month since it was added to the store back in May.

Nothing on the store has any power, they're simply cosmetic or utilitarian. This is just a "skin" (Rings aren't actually visible) for your Ring, it doesn't change that stats of the item it's on.

I was wondering about that ring today. Care to tell me what use it has? I mean beyond obvious, if its good for anything? Why do you want to track your currency drop?

It's just a curiosity really. Some of us used to track how many of the high value currencies that dropped for us using our "Status" slot on the Social window. This basically replaced that.
