You just have to not be blinded by idolization and partisanship. It's easy to understand the words that come out of his mouth and understand the intent of his actions, without listening to what "media" thinks.

I am watching Asmongold reacting to the game and it looks so darn good, amazing in fact. I think it's definitely worth a buy.

We will see. These things tend to blow up leader's faces (re: Afghanistan pullout). The fake threat of WW3 is the reason why the War isn't over already cause the West bought into Putin's nuclear red lines every time, which gave him time to recoup, with the West eventually crossing them every time with no consequence. Putin is a rational actor. You don't give up being probably the true world's richest man for Nuclear fallout. :p
The only risk would be Ukraine making major inroads into Russia beyond what is happening now which would never happen (if a Nuclear response was on the table it would have happened when Ukraine took over parts of Russia). Ukraine doesn't have the forces.
Also it will not be the end of the Ukraine War unless the US gives over most/all of Ukraine through partitioning and allows full Russian expansion (which could happen under Trump). Then it would turn into a full gorilla/partisan/insurgency war akin to Afghanistan, and we remember who eventually ended up in control a few years back. :p
The only thing that may stop it is if Ukraine joins NATO and basically the status of the War pauses with a few territorial trades. Then it's sort of a North/South Korea thing.
Hopefully it saves lives on both sides. The real losers of this War are the Ukrainian Civilians/Soldiers and Russian Civilians/Soldiers. Needless invasion that has costed hundreds of thousands of lives and no one is better off.
