Yes you'll receive also a steam key.
Since the store is shared between both games, you can wait for the upcoming stash tab sale when the EA starts.
Tabs to look for :
-Currency
-Premium (you can convert the free basic you get to premium for cheap)
-Map (wait to see how it works in POE2)
-Fragments (same as Maps tab, wait to see how it works)
-More premium tabs
Essence might be a nice tab to have, and when divination cards eventually come back, a Divination tab is really nice as well.
For other league tabs, we have no idea what will eventually transfer or how they might work.
Flasks tab will be useless with the rework. Gems and Unique tabs are pretty much "luxury", they're nearly pointless, but when you have extra points and want every tab, you might look at them I guess.
If you wait for the sale and see how tabs work in POE2, you'll have enough points with your pack for every tab you'll need for a long time, and there will most likely be good info on what tabs are the most important by then (in case POE2 change some things around).
In any case, we don't know much about PoE2 and you should avoid buying anything before the start - simply because they've re-made the experience, starting from currency squish
