The world map lacks immersion

No labels of any kind - none for cities, towns, landmarks. Looks like a mobile phone game. So disappointed. I want immersion, not this. It looks very cheap. Why would I pay money later on?

Really disappointed.

Update: Excuse my ignorance, everyone. I see now that this is the 'atlas' map - thanks to posters below - and that some of the icons are labelled when you hover your cursor over them. It would be bewildering otherwise. I appreciate all those below who were patient with a newbie to this game.

No one is forcing you to buy anything.
You can wait for the free version to come out and meanwhile watch some streams or videos to see if you like it.

The world map or the Atlas map?

The world map has locations.
The Atlas map isn't a "real" place. It's more of a dream world.

That 3rd screenshot on Store page is Atlas map (endgame mechanic with procedurally generated maps) not campaign map.
Still this is not open world game and it won't have features like one.

What I find amusing about the OP is their subjective comment is based on pictures and limited looks within vids. Not personal experience. THe OP's opinion is that of a echoing carrier pigeon.
