Price increase?!

I was willing to pay $30 for early access, now it's up to the same price as Diablo 4?! Why did they increase the price?

Did they getting greedy due to the hype?

I can't justify the price anymore, I'll just wait for it to go F2P.

Also you are comparing $30 USD to $46.12 AUD, Two DIFFERENT Currencies. $46.12 is actually LESS than $30 USD. You are actually stupid.

The steam store always displays AUD prices in the client. Yesterday it was $30 AUD, Now it isn't.

Did you perhaps visit the steam page in your web browser, which if you aren't logged in, will display in USD?

There is no price increase for ea you dummy, steam probably updated regional prices as to why you see increase in price, but its not caused by the game developer.

Steam can't update ♥♥♥♥. This was all GGG. Developers are the ones that manage the prices and sales. I was willing to support the game, but I won't. GGG is punishing people that actually want to play just because a bunch of losers bought the game abusing the prices.

You are correct. It was definitely $30. I can't explain why the steamdb site doesn't say so, but I had a conversation with friends about the price and we were all clear on it being $30 at the time. We had all seen the price on the page. It doesn't matter to me since I got a free key for lifetime spend in PoE 1, but it absolutely was displaying $30 at one point. It may have been a mismatch between displayed price vs actual price which would explain why steamdb doesn't have a record of it.

I bought Logham supporter pack on steam on 23rd Nov at my regional price which was 2400 INR in just 24 hrs all prices were jacked up by 111% which is due to dollar priced conversion. What steam did was regional pricing but GGG decided to go full USD conversion price. In some countries they are still in regional price.

So yea 30$ now is just basic key for game, Logham is 60$ and then 100$ etc. Before it was 15$, 30$ and 60$ regional price for me.

I don't understand why this game is more expensive in some SouthAmerican countries, it are more expensive than in the USA or Europe, which are countries with better economies. The game costs more in some SouthAmerican countries, and they don't have servers in those countries, except Brazil or Argentina, but the rest of the countries don't even have servers and the game costs more.
Sometimes it seems like developers are trying to charge more to people who have less.
