Do we know what 300 points is worth?
the 300 points that comes with the EA dlc pack. i was looking on their site but couldnt find a shop page for poe2 so i was curious as i dunno what 300 points is worth

People are saying there will be a sale on Dec 6th when the game launches.
So dont buy anything untill you see the stash prices in POE2.

The shop is shared with poe1, so check the shop of that over at pathofexile.com

Well, shared as far as stuff exists in both games.

And yes, wait for discounts.

im not buying anything fast anyway cuz i got finals the following week so im waiting till after to play i was just curious

yes.

from the FAQ :

MTXs and all stash tabs will be initially available.

Stash tab purchases made in Path of Exile 1 will be available in Path of Exile 2, where relevant. For example, a special league-related stash tab might not be available in Path of Exile 2 as that content does not exist there.

the cosmetics shop will be available in Early Access with a selection of microtransactions from Path of Exile 1

Yes, but note that stuff needs to have an equivalent in the other game, so if you buy say a crossbow skin in Poe 2 or a scion specific dance in Poe 1 it will be useless in the other game.

Armour sets arent that problematic though.

Be very careful with skill gem cosmetics, they might be for drastically different skills if a similar name in the other game.

Thats the goal, we probably wont see any of that until late in the testing phase, and possibly not until launch.

you should probably get the currency tab and a premium tab based on poe1 experience, but I'd wait and see. The meta will be different so the most import tabs to get may change

They've said that it's taking more time than they originally thought so not every skin will available on Dec. 6th, but they will eventually add everything from PoE1 to PoE2.

Not sure about the Dec. 6th sale thing, but they do have sales every weekend, if there's something you want that isn't brand new, you're usually better off waiting for it to go on sale.

A premium tab to sell things if you want to trade more easily. After that - tabs for storage, currency tab and map tab. Map tab for PoE1, we don't know yet how much of a QoL improvement that will be in POE2.

I'd say nothing for a start.
If you want to trade buy that tab, the rest can wait for a sale.
Also note that only the first 3 packs are on Steam. These packs go up to 480$ on the main site.
