glass cannons need extra loving to stay viable
you will have less to worry about defensively but your damage will be low and you have to work harder to clear / kill than other classes that can clear two screens ahead of the player.
when i say work harder I mean that an archer can walk into the room and just start spraying indiscriminately but a melee class has to round up the baddies so they are all in range and then start attacking. Mobs that are scripted to walk away from the player have to be chased down, AoE effects can't be avoided as easily... things like that...
melee has always been the weakest build archetype in PoE but at the same time they are great at... not dying as often!
I expect no less from PoE2 so you'll hear the factual answer to your question around December 20-25. The rest of the answers are s good as stupid as chatGPT3.5 AI hallucinations
Yeah, umm, they're called glass cannons because they are fragile and useless outside burst. If you want to be viable, don't build glass cannon unless you have farmed the endgame as your main job for a month or two.
This.
Ther's cant b beginner friendly class in poe. Beginner's friendly builds ye,could be.
