Steam take 30% cut, if you want to support the devs - better buy on the site :lunar2019piginablanket: But they aren't a small indie studio anymore so it doesn't really matter unless you want physical goods which aren't available on Steam.

No real difference. Their site gives them more money.

Steam gets you Steam points, but GGG doesn't charge sales tax on their site so it saves a few $.

so if i buy it from their site, will it unlock automatically here? i think its gonna bug out, it wont be included in the library

You have to manually activate on Steam.

When you buy on the site you go to the PoE2 Early Access link under your account and it gives you a Steam key to copy into Steam.

Personally from what everyone says the main site is a good choice, but personally I like having all my games in one library rather than spread around multiple sites and launchers. Whatever you're willing to put up with anyways.

Not really concerned with saving a few $ when I already spent 60$, and I'm not gonna pretend that I really care about supporting the devs concerning the 30% cut. They don't need my support they have millions of customers.

I bought the game on the site and got the steam key instantly through a site's message (there was a link "early access" status. You need just claim the key and activate it on steam), but my poe account had been linked to steam before.

You dont need to play on their launcher. You can activate key on steam and be good to go :sf3_raze:

At least in PoE1, buying on Steam gave you cards, while not if you buy in the website.
