Exile-like games?

The Poe devs played a ton of Diablo 2 , Diablo II: Resurrected is a really good remake , so poe is the evolution of D2 and Poe2 is the evolution of Poe
Other good Arpgs Last Epoch , Grim dawn, Titan Quest....

Chris and Jonathan used to play a lot of D2 and Titan Quest together before making PoE. Probably the biggest influences on the game.

I know, I am just making a joke about Rod crying that we should call PoE2 "diablo-like"
I find it funny because I remember how they talked on stream in their campfire chats how they never played D2 but were aiming to get D2 like atmo so they took pictures from internet instead of playing their own game .. so in the end, D4 is "diablo-like".

I mean if you haven't played it PoE is the best game to play before PoE 2. Games are private so cant see if you played or not

Torchlight Infinite is a more simplistic version of PoE. And this season you can try all but the most recent hero for free.

Anyway, try Undecember - it's an excellent game, better than Last Epoch and Grim Dawn + it's F2P unlike these two. I'd play it if there wasn't Diablo 4 release.
