So many new skills/skills that don't work the same as PoE1. Different ascendancies.
Pretty sure the passive tree is completely new as well? Could be wrong on that. And the skill system itself is drastically different.
It's much less about maximising one skill now, and there's likely to be very different setups around which buffs you want, etc. Especially when you're now limited by spirit for certain things and 1 support gem limit.
I can't see how you'd adapt anything directly from PoE1 like that. Damage scaling might be different too, so what's a comfy amount of defenses and hp in PoE1 may be totally different here.
The main thing that will help I think is knowing the fundamentals on what makes a PoE1 build work well. If you've got a good grasp on why you're putting points into stuff on the tree, rather than just clicking the button because the guide said so, then that knowledge will help.
